Fall Season and the Seniors in our Community.
Fall season the weather is cooler great for long walks especially for seniors, the air is almost perfect the weather becomes cooler and many plants become dormant and fall is one of the best seasons for the weather which coincides with the dropping of leaves from the trees as they go into a winter rest.
This season comes with the holidays and this is when we as a community have to support our seniors during this season. It starts with the raking of the leaves and our teenagers can do their part by volunteering their services to help.
The safety and welfare of our seniors are crucial this time of the year. Our residents need to be warm and checking the heating systems are very important to keep them warm throughout the season so scheduling or helping a senior schedule their maintenance is a good way to start the season.
Dressing appropriate for this season protects you. It is considered a sweater and jacket season and dressing in layers is inevitable. Proper footwear, non skid boots and shoes that can help prevent slips and falls.
